ON THE BOARDS - The Uber Street Cafe in North Philadelphia will serve the Temple Campus and surrounding neighbors as amultifunctional space, doubling up as an after school center during weekdays and as a cafe on weekends. The second and third floors will be a residence.

HIGHLIGHTS

The L-shaped building keeps the existing row home intact, restoring the historic exterior crown moulding and bay windows, while adding new construction with a back entrance to the residence on the second and third floors, as well as a woodshop and new commercial kitchen on the ground level.
